Marianne grew up in Northern Utah and graduated from the University of Utah with a B.S. in Human Development. After graduation, Marianne and her husband moved to San Francisco where she started working in Venture Capital and Private Equity. While they loved living in California, Marianne and her husband were drawn back to Utah after the birth of their 1st child. Marianne spent over 12 years working as the Director of Operations for an IT consulting agency before taking some time away to focus on her two children. After having some time away from the corporate world, Marianne is excited to bring her operational expertise to Common Thread. She looks forward to being part of a team of incredible individuals who are dedicated to making meaningful connections and a lasting impact on the lives of others. Marianne spends her free time experimenting with recipes, gardening, hiking with her dog and traveling with her husband and two teenage sons.
