Song: Feel Again by OneRepublic

Today was nothing short of extraordinary! We spent the afternoon with hundreds of teens and families, making sure each teen walked away with not only essential school and hygiene supplies but also a renewed sense of confidence and support.

Thanks to an incredible team of hairstylists, makeup artists, and nail technicians who generously donated their time and talents, teens were treated to fresh haircuts, eyebrow waxing and tinting, manicures, and makeup services—a true back-to-school glow-up! Seeing so many young people walk away feeling seen, valued, and ready to take on the school year was nothing short of inspiring.

This event was our biggest Back-to-School gathering yet! None of it would have been possible without the unwavering support of the Common Thread team, dedicated volunteers, generous donors, and skilled professionals who showed up to make it happen. Every person who contributed—whether by giving their time, resources, or donations—helped turn this vision into reality.

A huge thank you to Promise South Salt Lake for providing such an incredible venue, Utah Foster Care for LGBTQ+ pins, metal bracelets for teens to design, and swimwear, and MTN OPS and Cheryle Mounteer for the pantry packs.

And an extra special shoutout to the phenomenal professionals who spent three solid hours providing services—your generosity and kindness made a lasting impact!

This event wasn’t just about supplies—it was about creating a space where teens feel empowered, valued, and supported. We’re beyond grateful to be part of a community that shows up so wholeheartedly. Here’s to another amazing school year ahead!
