Events Team

Chelsie grew up in northern Utah and graduated from Utah State University with a B.S. in Psychology. She has always been involved with service-oriented organizations and programs designed to help others. Some relevant examples to Common Thread are being part of a Mobile Crisis Team for a domestic violence and sexual assault shelter, working with teens in a residential treatment center, and working for the state as a CPS caseworker for DCFS. While working in these various systems, it was clear that community and connection are vital for thriving, recovery, and healing. She is so excited to be part of Common Thread where connection, compassion, safety, and authenticity are paramount. She hopes to continue the connection and safety that is experienced with Common Thread events. She looks forward to expanding Common Thread’s reach to help more teens feel safe, trying new things, and making lasting connections with peers, trusted adults, and services. In her free time when she isn’t caring for her family and young children, she is reading, eating her favorite snacks, watercolor painting, or taking a nice hot bath.
