Edward Lopez is the Deputy Director of Community Engagement at Promise South Salt Lake. In this role he supports the maintenance and expansion of the Promise South Salt Lake Initiative through youth and
community programs, activities, events, and citywide councils and committees. He also works to implement equity-driven strategies for community relations and engagement for the Promise South Salt
Lake Department in coordination with the City's public relations staff. Edward has worked in the community engagement field for 9 years and is passionate about uplifting communities and making sure they have a seat at the table where their voices are heard. Edward has a love for music, travel, and food and believes those are all things that can help us get to know and understand each other better.
